Encouraging research on topics related to our fields of activity also involves organising academic and public engagement spaces where scholars, students and the general public exchange ideas and stay up to date on the latest findings from researchers and their colleagues.
In this regard, CED is responsible for organising the annual Conference on Esperanto Studies, which use Esperanto as a working language for scholars interested in various aspects of Esperanto studies and language politics.
We also hold the multilingual Nitobe Symposia, which bring together researchers and language policymakers working on language planning and language justice.
A regular initiative is also our most recent: a Webinar Series on Language Policy and Planning, organised in collaboration with our academic journal Language Problems and Language Planning.
